Waituhi Manu Kākā
The Kākā is a large Native New Zealand parrot that is endangered due to de-forestation and imported rodents. The friendly inquisitive nature of the Kākā is dangerous for the health and wellbeing of this manu. They are partial to eating fruit straight off the tree, clowning around to get attention, however it is a daily struggle for survival for these manu.
