Every now and then we have a project, where we come together and mahitahi, this generally is filled with whanau who can tautoko the kaupapa and have space in their busy lives to be present. Whanau helped inspire us with their love of growing, and being sustainable, which set the standard and provided us with some wholesome ways to efficient, with our ideas and living more sustainable.
Designing and creating our tunnel house has been a long time dream, and witnessing it come to fruition with our sons leading the way was a pure joy for us. With recycled pellets (painted for longevity) upcycled arches, cleaned and painted, seedlings ready.
So Hakoro and Hakui were the lackies on this project and our builder sons were managing us. What an amazing time we had and many, many laughs in the process. Honestly I know not everyone enjoys it when "a project idea" pops up, but the pride in joy throughout is priceless and special in every way. We will forever be grateful to our whanau for inspiration and laughter. Tino mihi ki a koutou xoxo
