Dark Sky Project | Ngāi Tahu Tourism
A project that developed Mātātuhi Matihiko (custom digital prints) and Kāri (greeting cards) for the launch of Dark Sky Project, a Ngāi Tahu Tourism partnership that blends astro-tourism and Mātauraka Māori (Māori knowledge systems). Our custom designs were focused on the location of Takapō (Tekapo), Matariki and Kāi Tahu oral histories.

   

 

Tātai Hono | Intergenerational Whānau Development
A dream of whānau reconnecting to their whakapapa, traditions and whenua. This pilot wānaka series was developed with whānau who have been disconnected from their papakāika and iwi for four generations. From tamariki to Taua and Poua, the holistic journey interweaves te reo, tikanga, kawa, rāranga, toi Māori and whakapapa.
